I haven't updated in a while...that's partly because the laptop I use won't let me get on Xanga.
A lot has happened since I last posted and it would take to long to tell all. The Fourth was fun. We had ice cream with our friends and then watched fireworks. While we were waiting for the fireworks to start, Violin_Girl_2, O, J-boy, one of our friends and I waved to the people that passed and tried to get them to wave back at us. We were trying to get 233 (because that how old America turned) people to wave back before the fireworks started. 241 was the final count!!

I'm going to start taking piano lessons soon! I'm not sure exactly when but probably in two weeks from today. This lady at our church, A, is going to be my teacher. I'm excited! I've been teaching myself and I think I've gotten to that point were I can't really teach myself anymore.

    Drivers Ed

I am so tired! I'm taking drivers ed this week. I keep reminding myself that I only have one more day- 6 hours- to go through. It's been a long week. Being up and ready to go with everything done (including packing a lunch) at 7:45 in the morning makes me glad I'm homeschooled!! Tomorrow should [hopefully] be pretty easy because we're going to review and take tests most of the day. I'll be glad when I'm done and don't have to study every night before I go to bed. Speaking of studying, I should probably go do that now. Bye!

    I'm Back.....

I haven't updated this site in months! A lot has happened since I last updated. Here's some of the things that happened since January 31, 2009.

    JC_Cola's birthday
    Little Z's birthday
JC_Cola went to China for 2 1/2 weeks (March 26- I think- to April 11)
My dad's sister, my uncle and their daughter came for a few days at the end of April

I can't really think of anything else important or exciting. Well, this past Saturday, Violin_Girl_2 and I went with our youth group to Falcon Children's Home. Violin_Girl_2 and I pulled weeds pretty much the whole time we were there. It was fun though. We got to talk to some of the kids there.
I've got to go now but I'll try to update again soon to finish telling you about our trip to FCH.

    January is over!?!

Wow! This month has gone by SO fast. I cannot believe it!

Well, I said I would have some pictures but I don't... Sorry! I'll just have to post them some other time.

Little Z isn't so little anymore. He took his first step by himself on Thursday- I think. I was holding his hands, helping him walk and then I let go, figuring he would just stand there or sit down like he normally does, but he took a step!! He is getting SO big! He isn't that 5 pounds of "nothing" he was when he was born!

    I've got to go!

    I'm Back... It's Snowing!

Hey! I'm sorry I haven't been posting lately. Merry very late Christmas! Happy late new year! Well, anyway, I'm back for now. I'll try to post like, once every one or two weeks.
It's snowing outside! It started about 30 minutes ago. We're supposed to be getting 2 1/2- 3 inches tonight. I can't wait! I love snow! As long as it is not super icy. I hate ice storms, though. Well, I have to go now. I'll try to update again soon- with pics of Z and everyone else, too!

    I Met Natalie Grant!!!

Yesterday, at the Christian bookstore where JC_Cola works, Natalie Grant came for about an hour to sign autographs. It was fun because there wasn't a ton of people there so we got to talk with her more than if there had been tons of people there. I had brought my 2 Natalie Grant CD's for her to autograph and at the store I got another one. On "Believe," she signed the cover 'To: Sarah! Natalie Grant.' On "Relentless," she autographed the CD 'Natalie' and on "Awaken," she wrote, 'To: The [our last name] girls! Natalie Grant.' It was a lot of fun getting to meet her. Here's a picture of Natalie Grant and me:

Here's one of Violin_Girl_2, O, J, and me with Natalie Grant.

I have some pictures of the Casting Crowns concert we went to last night. But they're on the other computer so I'll post them later.

    A New Layout

I got a new layout but I didn't really want the header that went with it so JC_Cola made one for me. I showed her a picture, told her what I wanted written on it, and she made it! She also made my new profile picture, too. Thanks, JC_Cola!!!

On Sunday afternoon, Violin_Girl_2 and I are going to the YMCA with the youth group from church to do crafts, games, and hand out presents to children who normally wouldn't get presents for Christmas. Hopefully, I'll remember to post about it Sunday evening or sometime on Monday.  Well, actually, I might not have a chance to post Sunday evening because O and J are in the children's play at church that night. I'll try to remember to bring my camera and take pictures so I can post some of the play.
Last night, we drove to this neighborhood near ours that has a lot of Christmas lights. We go pretty much every year. It is so cool because their yards are like totally covered in lights. This year they had less than they normally do but it still looked neat.

Okay, so I said I would post Friday or Saturday of last week and I didn't. Sorry!
Well, Frosty (that's what we called our snowman) melted before I took a picture but JC_Cola posted one of him on her Xanga site so you can go see our snowman there if you want.
Yesterday was a l-o-n-g day. We (JC_Cola, Violin_Girl_2, and I) went to the Operation Christmas Child processing center. It was my second year to go and my sisters' fourth. We woke up around 6:00 AM, drove the 45 minutes to the church where we were meeting the others that were going to OCC with us, once everyone was there we drove for about an hour to get to the OCC processing center, we inspected, taped, and packed shoeboxes for about 2 hours, took a break for lunch, then went back to work until 3:00. Then we drove back to the church (that took nearly an hour and a half), and then we got home a little before 6. After we got home, Violin_Girl_2 and I had to leave to go baby-sit nextdoor and we didn't get back home until midnight. Needless to say, I was very tired. I slept until 9 this morning. Now that you heard about my day yesterday, don't you see why I said it was a very long day?
